We always knew we wanted shutters and wanted to ensure that we gave our money to a local business. We cannot be happier! We opted for the composite shutters with a roller blind in both bedrooms to ensure consistency and total blackout. I really appreciate how honest James was by offering suggestions and helping us keep costs down. If you want shutters, do not hesitate, James is GREAT!

He provided me with a very competitive quote for my windows (which aren’t the easiest) and he helped me to tighten some blinds that had loosened (from a previous fitter). His manner is lovely and makes you feel very comfortable, and he certainly knows what he’s talking about. 10/10 and looking forward to utilising his services again in the future!
Calum McsorleySeptember 22, 2022James went over and above! We had a very misaligned window frame which he managed to install shutters in perfectly. Even our neighbours were impressed with the quality (they later used his services) Shutter was damaged by our child. He turned up and repaired it. Very courteous, polite and tidy.

As well as fitting my blinds, he helped me enormously by offering to cut them down to size when the company I had ordered them from had made them too wide. We got quotes from 4 companies, including some well known national brands. Brentwood Shutters were the most competitively priced, and offered a more personal service. One other thing that stands out: after James came back to measure properly with the laser, he said that the price was less than the original quote he gave us. It was only slightly less, but we really appreciated his honesty in passing that saving on to us, as he didn’t have to and we would have been none the wiser. We’ll definitely be contacting James to do the rest of the shutters in our house.
